The product is ok and looks good. But there is two big issues.
1- There is no instructions in the box and those available on the website are for another product. If you try to follow them you will be asked to drill the hinges of you door...DONT DO THAT. If you are lucky you will have in the box the brackets to mount it on the door without drilling. There was no brackets in my box and had to argue, send picture and video for a week before talking with someone who finally realized that i was missing the brackets. I told Tecvan in may that the should show the accurate instruction on the website and, as of the end of august, they still show the wrong info.
2- On the right side, you have to drill two holes in the door. That part is ok. But the product doesn't come with any supports inside or outside the door. So the bolts are holding to the sheet metal only. So every time you close you door, even if you are very carful not to slam it, the metal is flexing and creating a dent. I informed tecvan of the situation, I sent pictures and video (again), and have been waiting since, according to the emails, the 3rd of july when they said they would find supports to solve this issue. As of the 31st of august no news.
So i'm not impressed with the product and the customer service.
We had to wait a bit to receive the 270 hinges but the customer service was patient,understanding and curtious with our questions. Prompt in answering our questions. Installed this yesterday evening while having a cold beer and everything fitted perfectly and was easy to fit. The product is sturdy and looks great and professional compared to other similar systems
