A lot of people say portable power station is an “all-in-one” solution for vanlife, but it is the perfect solution?  The answer is NO. Why? Because:

-If you don't have a DC-DC charger, you van can only charge your portable power station with the cigarette lighter plug at 8-10A per hour max while driving. 

-Moving a big portable power station in a stuffed van to reach appliances for power could be a nightmare.

-At a campsite, when shore power is available, you have to carry it out and plug it in to charge.

If you like the idea of a portable power station and you want your van interior to be completely modular, you should get us to build you this electrical system that is ready for portable power station to plug n play. With this electrical system built into your van, all you need to do is bring the portable power station in your van and plug it into the wall. Once plugged in, it will supply power to your diesel heater under the passenger seat, Maxxair fan on the roof, fridge in the cabinet, induction cooktop built in the kitchen, Once plugged in, the solar panels on the roof will continuously charge your power station, and your van will automatically charge your power station at 30A per hour while driving. When shore power is connected, the system will automatically switch the supply to shore and start charging your power station.

All electrical power systems are designed by our lead electrician Patrick, and build in house under the supervision of Patrick.  Patrick has an extensive background in electrical engineering and more than 20 years of hands on experience. Patrick was the lead electrical engineer and lead electrician for a 32,000 SQFT frozen storage facility, he also has 5 years of experience in printed circuit board design and manufacturing. All electrical wiring follows "Z240.6.2-14/C22.2 No. 148-14 Electrical requirements for recreational vehicles."
