Installation guide
Fits 2019+ Sprinter with 180 degree rear door hinges.
The Tec Vanlife tire ladder carrier just got beefier and better. Crafted from high-quality aluminum - and stainless steel - this lightweight and corrosion-resistant carrier is the perfect addition if you want roof access and a heavy-duty tire carrier.
Designed specifically for 2019+ Sprinter vans with 180 degree rear door hinges, our two-in-one tire ladder carrier has been built to support the weight of a 305 AT tire while handling the bounce & weight pressures of off-roading. We have incorporated stainless steel to support where aluminum-only will ultimately sag - at the tire holder arm. No fear...no sag here.
Tec Features:
- Reinforced Folding Tire Holder Arm: Made stronger with stainless steel, the tire holder arm will not sag under weight or off-road bounce. When not carrying a spare, the arm conveniently folds for storage.
- Curved Upper Steps with Tread: Don't kick your door! You won't with our ladder as the steps are thoughtfully designed with an outward curve giving you a full-foot step. Additional safety features include an integrated step tread.
- Full-Size Spare Compatibility: Capable of holding full-size spares up to 305 all-terrain tires, ensuring you’re prepared for any situation.
- Sturdy Mounting System: Easy installation with a secure and sleek design, giving your van a professional and polished look.
-
Space-Saving Design: Combines a ladder and tire holder into one unit, maximizing the functionality and efficiency of your van.
Tec Specs:
Dimensions: 75.6"x 39.4"x10.25"
Weight: 33.8 lbs
PLEASE NOTE: 180-degree rear door hinges are required for installation. Due to supply chain shortages, the mounting hardware is currently only compatible with factory alloy wheels or aftermarket alloy wheels
WARNING!
Ignoring the following warnings may result in the rack detaching from the vehicle, leading to serious injury or death. Inspect and tighten all hardware after the first 100 miles and every 600 miles thereafter. Check the overall integrity of the carrier every 600 miles or monthly, whichever occurs first. If you are unsure, submit photos to info@tecvan.co for evaluation before final installation or use.
The van owner and/or installer assumes all risks associated with door/hinge-mounted items and/or components.
